Client Precautions

At Serenity Day Spa, we ensure that our clients receive the highest quality treatments under the safest possible conditions. Some special precautions need to be taken if you have one of the following conditions:

High Blood Pressure (even if controlled with medication)
Diabetes (even if controlled with medication)
Pregnancy

The following treatments cannot be done if you have any of the previously mentioned conditions:

Possible side effects depend on the condition, but can include the following:

• With High Blood Pressure, these treatments could lead to an even higher blood pressure
  rate. This may cause heart attack and stroke.
• Diabetes can be affected with changing blood sugar levels, which could cause dizziness
  & loss of consciousness.
• If you are pregnant, these treatments could cause damage to the baby,
  including miscarriage.

Some treatments can still be given to clients with health conditions but the treatments may need to be modified.

People with Nut Allergies need to have a different type of Scrub for the Body Salt Glow. We would like to
